We had a spring break on our rv while going by Kimball SD on Oct 23rd, found Overweg repair on the internet. Gave them a call just before 5 pm and Dan, the owner himself, came out with a spring that worked and had us back on the road within an hour!!
Pulled into Kimball after the 2nd of two on-road tire failures while in the middle of a cross country move. It was a Saturday afternoon and my nerves were shot. Parked at truck stop and walked across the street hoping these guys were open. Corinne was having a yard sale out front, but the shop was closed. I told her my situation - I needed 4 new drive tires for my commercial moving van. She checked inventory, walked into the back and asked Dan (her husband and co-owner) if he'd mind taking care of me. Without missing a beat, my truck was in the shop getting a brand new set of Cooper drive tires. No questions, no after hours service fees. These guys did me right. Dan and Corinne are the epitome of small town business owners who are successful for doing right by their customers. They had me in and out in about an hour, let my 6 year old son hangout in the shop and watch. An overall great experience at the end of a pretty crappy day.
I cannot under state how amazing the service and these people are at Overweg. I was stuck in a difficult situation when my car's transmission gave out on a cross country trip out west. They took us in, quickly diagnosed the problem and made calls on our behalf when I needed to figure out where the problem stemmed from. They never once over charged or hid fees and we very accommodating when I needed some time to figure out the next steps I needed to take with getting my car fixed. Best of all, the owners are as good as their business and were easily accessible to talk and communicate concerns to. Best service I've had when dealing with car issues.
